How do I condition young athletes specifically for their sport or event?
Is it possible for young athletes to train physically without impacting their health and growth?
This workshop will examine the physiology of athletes through the phases of adolescence and look at how this affects their physical capacity to train.
Taking into consideration bone density accumulation, peak height velocity rates, muscular force production and other key adolescent concerns, we will explore different training methods and how they can be safely applied to develop conditioning sessions and programmes for any young athlete in any sport or event.
