Como manager Cesc Fàbregas is pushing to sign a €25m La Liga striker before the September 1 transfer deadline. The move follows Gabriel Strefezza’s exit to Olympiakos and the season-long loan of Álvaro Morata from AC Milan. Negotiations are said to be advanced for an unnamed forward as Como aim to build on last season’s 10th-place finish in Serie A.
